The game is at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor on Sunday, February 25 at 1:00pm.

The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) is once again promoting the "Play 4Kay Game" raising funds for the Play 4Kay Initiative.

We have 30 free tickets to this game! Please contact Robin Long at 941-2808 ext 338 if you are interested in a ticket.

Cancer survivors will be honored at half time! Come join us for this fabulous, fun event!

Caring Connections will have a table at the entrance to the game and will be handing out breast cancer awareness information and a free gift to everyone who attends. We need volunteers to help with handing out gifts and information. You will get a free t-shirt if you help!

This event is named for the late Kay Yow, a former North Carolina State University women's basketball head coach, a past president and founding member of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), and a galvanizing voice for the WBCA. Yow was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1987, and passed away on January 24, 2009, after facing her third bout with the disease. For more information about Kay Yow, visit http://www.kayyow.com. The Play 4 Kay game represents the goal of a nation of women's basketball coaches raising breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, in communities, and beyond.

"Press on. Never give up.

Run the race as best you can run it."

Coach Kay Yow
