Annual Breast Cancer Survivor Retreat 2019
It's that time again! Time to register for Caring Connections Annual Breast Cancer Survivor Retreat. This year we will be gathering together for rejuvenation, relaxation, and connecting with other breast cancer survivors at The YMCA Wilderness Center at Camp Jordan on Branch Lake. Our retreat is happening a little early this year, Saturday and Sunday, August 24 & 25, 2019. This 2 day event is free to any woman from the State of Maine who has had a breast cancer diagnosis, and can be at any stage of diagnosis. Participants are welcome to participate in as many or as little of the activities as they would like.
Our theme this year is "End of Summer Cruise". Feel free to wear your best "cruise attire" while singing or enjoying Karaoke as well as an evening
cruise around Branch Lake with the "Locals". We will also be welcoming some new activities such as Wellness Drumming, EFT, and Forest Bathing, as well as seeing the return for an update on CBD oil and (hopefully) a new Zip Line! The schedule is a work in progress as we are still finalizing plans. Those that register will receive an updated schedule upon arrival.
